Technical rationale
Supabase reduced the time needed to validate the first connected workflows on PostgreSQL. When continuity and operational control became priorities, those services gave way to a self-managed topology with Directus and PostgreSQL.
How I have used it
It backed FER&REN’s first five Flutter applications before the migration to self-hosted infrastructure.
